99frames - The Eye (Making-of)

The making of to my #99frames project by Dino Muhic.

Software used:

  • Cinema 4D and Octane
  • X-Particles Skinner for meshing the tail section and loose tissue | x-particles.com
  • OTOY Octane Render for shading and lighting of all scenes, except the part inside the eye at the beginning. home.otoy.com/render/octane-render/
  • Compositing was done in After Effects.
  • The so-called "Mouche Volante" (the little dark worm-like particles you sometimes see in front of you, when you look onto a white space for example) were done with Trapcode Particular for After Effects.
  • Grading was done in Magic Bullet Looks and Universe, Lensflares with Optical Flares.
