3ds Max Indie will be available in more countries from August 7

3ds Max Indie was launched last summer in a few countries, it offers a full 3ds Max license at a cost of $ 250 / year for users with a gross annual turnover work of less than $ 100,000 a year. During the march session of  "Question & Answer" livestream, Chip Weatherman, the chief product owner for 3ds Max, said that Autodesk will release 3ds Max Indie worldwide sooner or later. The program, initially described as a "limited time offer", is currently only available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

(Unofficial) - according to the emails that some 3ds Max users get from Autodesk, in a few weeks Indie licenses will be available in the next batch of countries.

3ds Max Indie will be available on August 7 in the following countries: Canada, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Australia, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and China.

The Indie versions of Max are fully featured. There’s no official announcement on Autodesk’s sites at the moment.
