@barrlley - So funny how you always critic other people's work while they're waaay above your level

Bye
I don't think a critic necessarily have to be at the same level of the work that coments.
Still, i don't know if the barrlley tag as a "critic" is apropiate, i think a critic should be able to comment the shortcomings of work, but also the virtues of it when they exist, I can't remember any positive comment of barrlley about a work, i think when a critic only sees the negative has completely lost the north of its work. (but maybe i'm wrong, and i have to search more thoroughly in the forums)
Still is fun to read it.

@cesarr - that's the point, he never points out pro and cons about a work, it's really easy to judge, but it's harder to grab the mouse and show off your skill, and he never does, cause he can't, eheh.

Bye

Interesting work and post-p. And yes, Barrley has positive comments. By definition everyone who expresses a judgement value can be a critic. That means - AND +, right? Why don't you ask people that make only positive critics to do some negative ones just for the interactive air of the forum because it gets really boring sometimes.

Theres nothing wrong with barrlley comments in my opinion, most of them are right on and you should take them as they are, a way to improve on a work dont focus on the negative its just and advice to improve other artists work, btw i luv these images

Hi! Thank you very much for your interest in the subject. Also thanks for critic and comments. I'll try to answer your questions with a few pictures and screen-shots.
Lighting setup is very simple: 3 VRay Lights (sky portals) and 8 bit jpg image in Environment slot (i could not find a good HDRI image ). Color mapping is off, gamma 2.2.

This is a raw image (32 bit, exr):

In Magic bullet plugin I reduced an exposure to remove over brights on the windows, and then began edit curves to add the contrast. Then I added some effects like chromatic aberrations and vignette:

Also ambient occlusion pass and ZDepth pass for DOF:

To simulate the filmgrain, I used this image (overlay mod, 10% opacity):

That's all. Hope this information will be useful for you.

PS. juniel, what is LWF?

I like the sculpting on the furniture. Looks good.

As for crits, the floor looks like its made from many different types of wood. This seems really odd, but it might just be a regional design choice.
Also, if you look at the area rug trim, it is levitating in certain areas (hovering). My eyes usually check out fabrics and rugs for realism, and this gives it away immediately. But the top of the rug looks nice and fuzzy. Good job overall.
