Does the differences between 3D max 2009 and the older versions matters if you want to do some tutorials? I want to know if you can do 3D max 6 tutorials if you have 3D max 2009. I just want to know if I have the freedom to do all 3D max tutorials

If you are using Max2009, you can do the same things that were available with previous versions. If the tutorial is much newer than the version of 3ds, you may not find the procedure the same, or even be able to complete it.

First get a good cooler,
f.e. thermal right 120 extreme
OC in small steps if you have an asus board use turbo V
my settings.
BLCK frequency= 194
cpu voltage =1.38750
the rest auto
but push them up in small steps.[always cpu voltage first ]
It takes some time but saves a lot more.

The cpu gets hot around 82 degree's but is totaly stable, not one crash.
also for hours of rendering
Google OC i920 for advice on overcloking

hope this will help
