THIS IS OLD TUTORIAL. IT CAN BE DISPLAYED WRONG OR CORRUPTED - IF SO PLEASE CONTACT US
LOWPOLYGON 3D.

Everyone who has had even a minimal contact with 3d graphics software know that one of the most compilcatad things to model are people, plants, cars etc. Those kinds of objects are very complicated. It means that one who would like to create a scene which consists of such a models need to be well versed in modeling and definitely have a lot of time. But even if we meet these conditions, there is another problem. Those kind of models are usually large in size, which usually means a lot of polygons in the scene. So when we need to create for example, a parking lot full of cars or an interior full of people it means a lot of time will be spent on the rendering process.

Of course there is the other way. We can use bitmaps. It is a very fast and effective method, but it is also not perfect. In this situaltion it`s very hard to set a correct perspective, lighting and scale of the pasted bitmaps.Thats why almost every try with this method looks unnatural.

At this time we want to introduce a product which can help in that situation. A LOWPOLYGON 3D on-line store (www.lowpolygon3d.com) offers models (still and animated) of people, vehicles, shop interiors, exteriors, plants, etc. These kind of models links the advantages of both techniques (3d models and bitmaps). These models are very fast in rendering and are realistic looking as well. We can use a lot of these models in one scene and it will not have a big influence on rendering time. We also don’t need to think about the correct lighting. We can render them with many different kind of lights from different directions. Of course these models are low-polygon so when we render them from the close view there will appear some strange and unnatural polygons. Even then it can be easy corrected in some graphic program like Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photopaint.
