hey, thanks for the comments... ye i still use both mental and vray, i tend to use vray more at the moment however as i do a lot of freelance visualization work for architecture practices, who tend to use vray themselves and prefer that workflow. I tend to use mental ray for more abstract stuff but have recently been experimenting with that in vray so im not helping much am i.. lol,
There both good, vray has more support online but mental ray is being backed more and more by autodesk and is only going to get better in 3-d studio max... I would say vray is easier to learn, but also abused by lots of people who dont use it creatively, yet is still over-saturating the visualization profession. :(

I think there is a certain fluidity, style and quality that is clear to see in all of your works. I have noticed your more recent works are rendered in VR instead of MR. You seem to get very good results from both, do you have any preference now?
